WHAT TYPE OF SPINAL EQUIPMENT DO YOU HAVE? Lindare Medical supplies a wide range of Spinal equipment, with a pedicle Screw System, the 3K Spinal Set from FRADIS MEDICAL, France, along with CLIA Cervical, PLIF and ALIF Cages. The Cages are manufactured from PEEK, or Poly Ether Ether Ketone, a form of plastic, which is compatible with the body and safe to Implant, is radioluscent, so clear on X-Ray, but with small Titanium “tell tales” to ensure we know where they have been implanted. The radioluscent product allows the Surgeon to see bone growth across the cage in this type of procedure much more easily, and these products also have a similar Youngs Modulus of Elasticity to human bone. We also have a Cervical Plate Set, FENECIA, which could be used when the Surgeon decides to use “block” donor bone in Cervical Fusions: generally these need to be retained by a plate to ensure safety. Our own CLIA Cervical cages are anatomically formed, and stand alone, so do not require this type of plating system. Finally, and our latest acquisition, is the FLEXIS dynamic Interspinous Distraction device. This is a very easily implantable distraction device, which allows for controlled sizing of the implant and simple implantation for the Clinician. It is priced with cost effective surgery in mind.
